Juxtapoz Journal – Yasuhiro Ogawa’s Dreamy Black and White Pictures

The Dreaming is a set of Yasuhiro Ogawa’s black and white images, shot throughout his travels all through Asia over the previous 30 years. Ogawa visited China (together with Tibet), Myanmar, India, Cambodia and different international locations.

“Ogawa’s images reach a troublesome activity,” writes writer Mark Pearson, “capturing the world as otherworldly and interesting as it will probably really be.’ For the artist, revisiting his negatives felt like reliving an outdated dream. However for many people, these photos will echo the sensation of care free journey: the feeling of freedom, longing and ready… merely feeling alive … one thing we, for now, can solely simply however dream about.
