2021 Nosaltres Festival Kicks Off In Mataró With Theater And A DJ Session

The ‘Nosaltres’ cultural festival of Mataró (Maresme), organized by the production company Clack and the City Council , started this Thursday, July 1 at the Pati de Can Marchal with theater, circus, a DJ session and kilometer 0 for flag. Thus, the evening began with the premiere of the show La Mamafesta , with Jèssica Pérez and Núria Palau from Mataró , from the Quatrelements company .

The Mamafesta tells the experience of Marina , who has just discovered motherhood, and talks about what is not discussed: pregnancy, childbirth, the relationship with in-laws or sex after giving birth. It is a show directed by Marga Parrilla about recent motherhood in a humorous way and with musical touches.

Quatrelements was followed by the contemporary circus company Madame Gaüc , formed by Maria Palma and Raimón Mató , who offered an excerpt from Fil , a creation that explores human relationships and overcoming problems in common using a universal language: the physicality . It is “a poetic, thoughtful and close show, in which balances are always present,” they comment from the company itself.

The night of the festival was scheduled to be closed by Talcö , an electronic music duo formed in Mataró in 2002 by Dj and producer Marc Latorre (Marc Nurel) and by fellow producer Raül Sala (Tatsumi & Masako), but due to a contact with a positive, Talcö could not act and, instead, DJ Batista finished off the first day of ‘Nosaltres’ with a live session.
