José Sacristán And Gutiérrez Aragón Pay Tribute To Fernán-Gómez At The Theater
On the centenary of the actor, writer, filmmaker and RAE academic Fernando Fernán-Gómez (Lima, 1921-Madrid, 2007), the theater that bears his name in Madrid will pay tribute to him with a series of activities in which José Sacristán will participate , Ramón Barea, Manuel Gutierrez Aragón, among others.
From tomorrow until December 31 , the Fernán Gómez theater has scheduled a series of activities – theater, dramatized readings or film screenings – to remember the figure of the protagonist El abuelo (1998).
The Guirau Room of the Cultural Center of the Villa will inaugurate this tribute with a work by Fernán Gómez himself : The trip to nowhere , a theatrical adaptation by Ignacio del Moral, directed by Ramón Barea and with Patxo Telleria, Mikel Losada, Ramón Barea , Itziar Lazkano, Irene Bau, Aiora Sedano, Diego Pérez, Adrián García de los Ojos in the cast .
During the month of October, a series of films by the filmmaker will be screened, which can be seen in the Guirau Hall and in the Multipurpose Hall. In addition, the December Vermouth Session will be dedicated to Fernando Fernán Gómez.
The Jardiel Poncela Room will host a Round Table on Fernando Fernán Gómez in October, with the presence of Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón.
And in the Guirau Hall, José Sacristán will present The son of comic , dramaturgy from the first volume of El tiempo amarillo , memoirs by Fernando Fernán Gómez , a work that will be interpreted and directed by José Sacristán himself along with other actors who shared work, experiences and life with Fernán Gómez and who have wanted to join this tribute.
