The concert promoter Live Nation has charged Robe Iniesta, leader of Extremoduro, for refusing to postpone the farewell tour of the mythical rock band , now already canceled. The company highlights in a statement that it has tried “to postpone it until the last moment” but that it has not been possible due to “the refusal of the singer and his representative .” Live Nation points out that, on the other hand, the band’s guitarist, Iñaki Antón, has always been in favor of celebrating the tour in the future.
The company also wanted to record “its astonishment at Robe Iniesta’s persistent obsession in sowing doubt about the return of tickets.” And he accuses the Extremaduran singer that “he himself runs away without returning the anticipated amounts in his possession.” Live Nation also defends that “it has proceeded on several occasions to the return to those who have requested it.”
For his part, on August 25, Robe published a statement on the Extremoduro website in which he defended that the tour had been canceled since Live Nation “had not wanted to wait for the pandemic to pass to set new dates, which is the only sensible thing to do in this situation . ” “In my opinion, since all this began, they have not been sensible at any time,” adds the note.
In this sense, weeks ago the leader of the Extremadura group presented the tour of his latest solo album, ‘Mayútica’, which will stop in Barcelona (Palau Sant Jordi) in November.
