Allianz EGO Confidence In Fashion Is A New Shuttle To Boost Emerging Designers

Last year, Allianz landed at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid (MBFWMadrid) through the Allianz EGO platform , of which it is the main sponsor. In its second edition, it has proposed a new way to support young designers within the context of ‘Let us support you’: Allianz EGO Confidence in Fashion , a recognition that will serve to promote the quarry that represents the future of Spanish fashion.

This contest is designed to tangibly promote the creators of the Allianz EGO Showroom in the creative and business development of their brands. To do this, they will endow the winner with 6,000 euros in order to create their next collection to parade in the subsequent edition of the Allianz EGO catwalk.

In addition, the winner will have professional advice for six months in order to develop his brand. In this way, the designer will be able to complement his talent and his creative vision with an entrepreneurial knowledge. Fulfilling this need detected in the sector, Allianz takes another step towards creating a hopeful future for these brands , in line with the company’s ‘Confidence in Tomorrow’ purpose .

The jury and the participants
Allianz EGO Confidence in Fashion will have, in each of its editions, a jury made up of the MBFWMadrid organization , the Allianz EGO platform and professionals from the fashion sector.

This year, this committee of experts is made up of the designer María Escoté , familiar with this platform, in which she took her first steps as a creator; Nuria de Miguel , director of MBFWMadrid; Andrés Aberasturi , curator of Allianz EGO; and an industry expert.

They will be in charge of choosing a chosen one from the 15 participating brands , which are part of the Allianz EGO Showroom: 404 Studio, Cherry Massia, Corsicana, Enneges, Georgiela Studio, Guillermo Décimo, Joaquín Dogo, Karont, Montenegro, Noah Christian, Paula Alegría, Picopico, Cast Studio, Rubearth and Yvan Andreu.

As already happened in April 2021, Allianz EGO will present on this occasion a new day of fashion shows that will take place on September 19 ; In parallel to the Confidence in Fashion award, you will be able to enjoy the catwalk proposals of 404 Studio, Delanovoa, Goodption, Karont, Montenegro, Morle, Puzzle and Temporal as a final touch to the 74th edition of the MBFW Madrid.

Allianz’s new commitment to this event stems from the company’s commitment to supporting youth values ​​such as work and passion for its projects, and is part of the ‘Let us support you’ initiative , which shows how entrepreneurs, entities and people manage to make the future hopeful for our society. The Allianz EGO platform, within the Spanish fashion sector, is a great example of this.
