Universities Open Doors 2021
On April 10, the TecnoCampus , located in Mataró, will hold the open house for new students who want to enter the university next academic year 2021-2022. For this, the center, attached to the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), has opened the registrations through its digital portal and students will be able to register until April 8 at 3:00 p.m.
The conference will be carried out in a hybrid way, a part ‘online’ and another in person , as the center has developed its academic activities since the outbreak of the pandemic caused by the coronavirus .
In this way, the TecnoCampus will organize face- to- face sessions for small groups in which the 17 undergraduate degrees taught on campus will be announced. The rest of the participants will be able to follow the open day ‘online’ , since there will be live connections from the classrooms where the face-to-face sessions will take place, through the Zoom digital platform, the same one used to teach the classes telematically .
The open house can be followed online, as live connections will be made from the classrooms where the face-to-face sessions will take place, through the digital platform Zoom
To register at the open doors, future students must register in the portal that has enabled TecnoCampus, created last year in order to group all the information related to selectivity, university pre-registration and all that additional content that they could need the students who would go to university the following year.
To facilitate the process, TecnoCampus decided to offer this digital tool that also includes all the information related to access to the reference university of the Generalitat de Catalunya. On the other hand, in this portal, students will find a section of frequently asked questions and the possibility of receiving personalized attention through theStudent Information Point.
Open day ‘online’ and face-to-face
The sessions have a limited in-person capacity due to security related to the pandemic. Those who wish can follow the sessions live using Zoom. In them, the coordinator of each degree will present the most important aspects such as the study plan and the characteristics of the degree or double degree.

In all sessions there will be the possibility for future students to ask their questions and express their concerns and doubts in an open debate with the other participants who are in the room and those who are connected online. To end the day, the TecnoCampus will organize a visit inside the campus so that future students can get to know the main teaching spaces.
After completing the information sessions, future students will be able to visit the centre’s facilities
